The Spanish Pretérito Pluscuamperfecto might sound like something invented to torture learners, but don’t worry — it’s actually one of the clearest and most logical Spanish past tenses. This tense is essential if you’re learning Spanish online or trying to improve your storytelling skills in Spanish, because we use it to describe an action that happened before another action in the past.
